Sudy Shen, Director and CEO
Mr. Shen’s leadership of Masstech Group is built on nearly 30 years of experience within the broadcast industry. Prior to joining Masstech Group, Mr. Shen was President and CEO of Acura Technology group, through which he built two wholly owned subsidiaries to serve systems integration and the desktop and multimedia sectors. In the early 1980s with McCurdy Radio Industries Ltd. and Century Video Ltd., he worked at developing digital communications and data transmission systems for the television industry and pioneered facility automation hardware and software systems. Mr. Shen earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Concordia University in Montreal.

 
Joseph H. French , Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing
Mr. French joined Masstech Group in 2002 with over 20 years of achievements in management and new development for the broadcast communications market. He served in key management roles at Encoda Systems and Dynatech Video Group. He was involved in building some of the earliest all-digital, fully automated, multi-channel broadcast systems. Mr. French earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and completed his Master's degree coursework in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 

Philip N. Lam, CFO
Mr. Lam joined Masstech Group from the Acura Technology Group, where he was responsible for all business management and IT functions for seven U.S. and Canadian companies with sales of $40 million. His background as a financial analyst and manager includes leadership roles at a variety of Canadian companies, including the Scarborough Public Library Board, the Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Transport Canada, and Canadian Oxygen Ltd. He graduated with honors from the University of Toronto in Accounting and Finance and became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1982.

 

Carolyn Kinzie, Director of Marketing

Ms. Kinzie joined Masstech Group from an affiliated company of thegroup where she served for 8 years in a number of positions with increasing management responsibilities. Most recently she was General Manager of SummitFX Inc., a national distributor of desktop and professional video products. Ms. Kinzie holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Bishop’s University in Quebec and is a board member of the Toronto chapter of SMPTE.
